On the Air
A radio round-up for the folks out there who want to hear the sound of my voice
As I said on air, it was “a dream to finally be on WFMU.” Tried a bunch of different doors, street directions, and floors before I found the legendary studio. John Allen and I go waaaay back, to the late ‘90s (when I wound up doing concert promo for a John Fahey/ Revenant concert and John’s band opened one of the nights). Countless Friday mornings have been spent listening to JA in the AM and now I was on the other side of the ether. Always love irl talking with John anyway, so it was fun to do this on the air in the tri-state area on Friday morning.
Observations of Deviance 6/20/2026
A special 3-hour show with David Mittelman where I play some verrry deep cuts, from alt version of ashram tape recordings to a 1972 Boston radio broadcast, featuring an expansive version of “Galaxy in Satchidananda” featuring the New England Conservatory strings that needs to be heard to be believed. (Tyler raved about it at Doom and Gloom from the Tomb as well.)
Biographers International Organization
A biographer podcast based in Washington, D.C. An honor to chat with academic Karolyn van Putten.
Did I mention that you can also cop a special edition tee from the awesome folks at We Are 1 of 100? You can grab one here.
