When a Seasonal Allergy to David Byrne Stops Making Sense, The Ednah Holt Fan Club, The Best Album of 2023 That Dissolves Like a Dream, Playing Electromagnetic Waves

(Much like it was waaaay back when on my old, old, old blog, ‘Heep See’ is an attempt to square a round-up.)

In addition to cedar pollen, oak pollen, and NYC’s now-endless dust, I have come to finally accept that I also have a David Byrne allergy. I’ve tried everything. My best friend in high school made me a mixtape with Talking Heads on one side, Elvis Costello on the other. (Wait, I also have a severe Elvis Costello allergy??!?) Writing a video script for Remain in Light didn’t move the needle. “Burning Down the House” on MTV freaked me out as a kid.
